Everyone meditates on mountain tops, river banks, caves, holy places and ashrams. But for me, I had a special mountain top to meditate on.

In Jayanagar, we had taken up a space for setting up our major store. When we were doing the interiors of that store, we came across two obstacles. One obstacle was that we couldn’t cut through the flooring to put up a staircase to reach the godown. The owner didn’t allow us to cut it. The second one was very unusual. The building was built on a solid rock and the rock was very hard to cut through. I realised the mound was the baser remains of the higher hillock of Ragi Guda hill. There is a beautiful hillock near the Jayanagar 9th block. It houses a very beautiful Anjaneya temple atop the hillock. There is also a green coloured Shivlinga.

When we took up the store, we weren’t knowing what we were up for. So when we created our godown there, it was built around the rocks without hindering them. The whole space was around a thousand square feet and closed from two other sides with shutters.

This godown became my home and meditation mountain cave. I would sit atop the cold mountain surface and meditate for hours. No one would come to disturb me. We had installed a phone inside, just in case, anyone wanted to come to see me.

One day after I had closed the godown for the night and gone home to a cool evening. There was no rain during that time but when I opened my godown door the next morning I saw the whole stock of about 4-5 million rupees underwater. There was about one feet of water inside my godown. We had to throw the water out using buckets and dry the entire raw cloth and produced goods. I wondered how and from where that water came. There was no pipeline inside since it was underground.

After investigation, I realised that the mountain had given off the water which came from the nearby Ragi Guda temple. It was sweet water and had filtered through mountain crevices to reach my place and soak me up. I was able to salvage all the wet cloth and finished goods without any physical or monetary loss.

After that day, I revered that place a lot. It brought more tranquillity and calmness to my meditation. This same godown was a location for more stories which you will get to hear from me later on.

Let’s just suffice to say that my physical sadhana started here and I was able to move far ahead in my spiritual agenda. Lots of my initial blogs were written here. That place had lots of pleasant memories.
