When you doubt the genesis, authenticity, history, antiquity or just validity of any spiritual scriptures, it’s called faithlessness!
Man has to totally put his faith and trust in the spiritual scriptures at all times. There can never be an iota of doubt, otherwise, the scriptures become redundant and unworthy of being called as the Gospel truth.
How is one supposed to confirm what is written is true or not? The answer to that can only be given by the one who knows the truth. The knower of truth is called the Spiritual Master or the Guru. He has complete authority to ascertain the validity and truthfulness of these ancient scriptures. He authenticates and expounds on them. He is called the repository of true spiritual knowledge.
The scriptures are written in a coded language. Even if these scriptures appear simple or easy to learn, but they aren’t. There is a whole load of hidden meanings in them which only the true Master can decode and unravel for you.
You have to first find this gem called the Guru before you start doubting these ancient spiritual texts. So start earnestly and seek out a true Master who can guide you and show you the ultimate truth.
The dating or antiquity may be questioned by you or any other logical being. Let me tell you that it is nothing to do with the dates or how it came about but the true essence of it all. Stories are written to drive home a point in the material world. So here too, the sages altered certain issues or so-called facts to suit the purpose of the texts. The deeper meaning or the true essence can be gathered by a true aspirant from the satsangs of the Guru. Here he explains the true purport of these scriptures with meanings.
