It’s easy to forget but hard to remember. Work happens when you remember and work ends when you forget. For the soul to get covered by layers and layers of ignorance is easy. But to remove these veils is extremely difficult. To put on layers of fat is easy, but to burn them off takes lifetime. Even then your attempts at dissolving may be insufficient. Little distraction and you will put on more than ever. So constant sadhanas and efforts are important in spiritual. Even a single days laxity can put layers of ignorance. So be aware.
