When the sages move towards enlightenment, God feels good about it.
He hopes there are now a few who would lessen His burden of running this world.
He hopes that many others would join Him in His work.
Today there is paucity of such great people! And man doesn’t want to assist God.
He is so engrossed in his own petty affairs that he doesn’t empower himself at all.
He feels he needs his desires to be fulfilled first.
Here is an example of the above.
Look at the CEO’s of this world who are nearing their terms.
They want someone capable to handle their positions.
They want to leave confidently, knowing that the company is now in capable hands.
They want that person who succeeds them to be truthful, focused, dedicated… Etc., so that the company does well.
But if they get an egoistic, self centered, arrogant, greedy, lusty and unworthy person for that job, what would happen to their company?
It would go to ruin.
Likewise, God wants to give empowerment to the most deserving who will only bother about others and not about themselves.
He seeks such types but hardly anyone qualifies for that role.
God is still keeping that vacancy open. Hope someone qualifies.
