Many times the way forward seems uncertain as one is prone to the doubts which come up in the mind. Unimaginable freedom exists when one can rest assured that everything that is to happen, will happen. When, by your standards, there are unexpected changes in your life can you flow with it?
Expectations and desires move your focus away from God. Guruji stated that what is needed by the disciple is complete Surrender and absolute Faith in that Supreme One. Whether you call that Supreme One by a name or not, surrendering to that One’s plan with complete Faith can keep you focused on God and not lost in the doubts of the mind.
One can spend lifetimes questioning the ways of God or one can use this very life to accept and flow with His will. Uncertainty is in the mind. We should not desire certainty, our own mind’s ideal of certainty is such a small and narrow space, why not look forward towards the vastness of God’s will.
Even under the tutelage of a Guru, you think you get tossed about and it seems your wheels are coming off your track, but trust that there is a reason. One can expend great efforts, time and energy to fight it; one can try to circumvent change, but control of the end results, such as where one might land, is not with the individual. Control of the fruit of your actions never rests with you.
So there it is… once again. Surrender this life with absolute Faith. Your worldly peers may pass judgements on you, and yes, even those on their own paths will judge you, but as Dear KrsnaGuru Ji states, “Just do the work that comes to you and move ahead.”
Certainty can be found. It’s there when you Surrender with absolute Faith in God/Guru. Certainty lies with Him.
