I strongly believe that cooking is an art which needs to be cultivated, nurtured, and practised continuously to cook some of the simplest recipes in the most perfect manner that is lip-smacking.
Cooking is one of my passions. I love to advent my culinary skills. I only realised when my preceptor told me that I had never learnt how to cook. What he actually meant is that I have never observed nor learnt by questioning or smelling the ingredients to understand the flavours and why and what goes in the dish in a particular sequence.
I ended up in a cooking spree and was disappointed since the dish turned out bad, I learnt a significant lesson and that is, In life, we must not give up and accept defeat due to cooking some bad dishes. What really matters is that we must continue to cook till we get it right. It doesn’t necessarily mean that every time we make it will taste good.
What it simply means is that sometimes it might turn out finger-licking and at other times not up to the mark. But striving constantly and keeping at it every single day is what will lead you to succeed someday. So, don’t ever give up and keep at it.
