Guruji said, “sit on the mountain top,” heed what He says to you.

At the edge and on a cliff overlooking the river
Sitting in the woods on the top of a mountain
Surrounded by small trees, tall trees and fallen trees
Rocks and boulders, some covered in moss
There is the smell of the dark moist dirt

Miles of planted farmland and dark green forests
A red hawk soars above the winding river
The warm air is carries the sound of the waving leaves
Birds are singing and a buzzing bee sits at my side
There are gnats, and spiders and a sting on my thumb

This mortal body, born of the earth is no more than a spec
From its every cell, atom, proton, neutron, particle and quark
Only the Spirit soul is eternal, His love is reflected here
In unseen Grace this one is  moved along His winding path
Like the river before me, with all its twists and turns

Given His perfect instructions, one has only to follow
Be certain in faith and know He holds you in His hands
He guides His disciples to go forward and move ahead
Do the work that comes, hear His words and progress
Know God’s love to be everything on your journey
