After watching all the Avengers movies, every person wishes he has some superpowers. You all wish you were like those superheroes.
Ask any kid on the block and he will have his superhero to talk about. He is madly in love with that illusory person and wants to emulate him at all times. He will climb trees and his bedstead and jump from it just to imitate the superpower his hero has.
Even when you grew up, your superhero fascination never dwindled. You still watch those corny movies with kid-like enthusiasm. You secretly wish your life would be like these beings. You plan to blow away all your material worldly obstacles out of the way. Your antagonist is either your boss, wife, husband, in-laws, neighbours, neighbours cat or whosoever you designate them to be. You want to tangle them into a web or chuck them far into outer space. But nothing like that ever happens in real life. Your wish is never your command. You always lose and your boss or wife wins. They always show you their upper hand. You know you are just an ordinary mortal and the only time you feel good about your fantasy is when you watch the reruns of your favourite superheroes.
In spiritual we are the superheroes and we know we have powers. The power to turn into a fly or a superman also. We are Hulks and X-Men too. We can fly through walls and dream on like kids too. So what gives the spiritual beings the power to be superheroes?
Spiritual teaches us that we are not the bodies but spirit alone. The spirit has immense potential powers hidden in plain sight. The spirit can soar and fly, tumble and be invisible too. Bodies are like suits which we don only for that special purpose. Just like Peter Parker or Tony Stark. For spiritual beings, the human body is an incognito vessel or sheath. The truth lies far beneath the human appearance. We know how things are going to pan out. We have a future vision. We are capable of performing daredevil tasks, kill the villains and save the world.
