For the spiritual its the day they do the death ceremony of their previous life to start anew at the feet of their Master. Or the day they reach the Self! Whatever the day its still related to freedom or bondage. Depending on spiritual or material goals respectively. What’s freedom for material beings is bondage for spiritual.
