What Is My Destiny?

Destiny and destination are two words which are very much closely related to each other.

Everyone and everything has a predefined destiny. They come embedded with it. It is a fixed path that all have to follow in the forward direction. Starting from birth to death is destined. No one can change destiny since it is hardcoded into everyone. Not even God can change that.

If you have to meet a person with whom you have to spend your entire life then it will be. If that life were to be a torturous journey then it will be so. If someone has to destroy your modesty just like Draupadi’s case, then it will be so. Thereafter, the consequences connected to these same instances will happen. Just the way Bhima had to break the groin of Dushyasan or Draupadi used Duryodhan’s blood to soak her tresses. The situations arise again and again. Even when Krishna was the teacher of all the Pandavas, they had to go through their troubles. You can ask- Why?

No one follows the exact words of Krishna to the letter T! If one were to exactly follow the teachings of Krishna without using one’s mind then Krishna will take charge of the individual’s consequences and destroy the oncoming arrow. As you can come to know through the story of Uttara and her unborn child Parikshit.

But human beings use their mind and body and create all kinds of additional karma and get embroiled in it. They never listen to Krishna or the little voice inside of them.

So whatever destiny you have come with will happen without a doubt. Beware of the consequences and do not use your mind and respond to it. Just do what you got to without a murmur. Go ahead to the next rung. Don’t argue or present your case. You are not supposed to object or give some kind of explanation to the why’s and wherefores. To be a yogi is the only way out of the cycle of births. Release or realisation is the only material way out of karmic debts.

The rider here is- there is another path too. It’s called the devotional path. With absolute Faith, Surrender to Krishna. Have Unconditional Love for Him and have Single Pointed Devotion to Krishna then this path is open for you. Don’t do anything which can destroy this relationship.

So you ask- what is my destiny?
To read this and follow the last paragraph could change the absolutely silly life you are going through right now.
